The Art of Interacting Incorrectly is a project that challenges the seamlessness of our interactions with technology by subverting how it can be used. Through using unconventional methods to create various animations of a horse running, drawing from Eadweard Muybridge’s A Horse In Motion, the project explores how disrupting technology can encourage more thoughtful and engaged interactions with it. By taking familiar aspects of using a laptop and presenting them in unfamiliar ways, it aims to reintroduce a sense of novelty to our experience with everyday digital tools. Each animation embraces the limitations, quirks and textures of the mediums being used.
